The W.E.E.K.L.Y. Update....

Hey Reader

I'm excited to say I've finally built a system around this WEEKLY newsletter, which will hopefully help me to actually publish it weekly....anyway let's get to it....

What's Happening in the Industry

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) As AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude become primary information sources, bloggers are adopting Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). This strategy focuses on optimizing content to appear in AI-generated responses, emphasizing clear, authoritative answers and structured formatting. Read More About It

Shift Towards Mixed Media and Long-Form Content In response to the rise of zero-click searches, bloggers are focusing on creating in-depth, mixed-media content. Incorporating videos, infographics, and expert insights enhances engagement and caters to AI-driven discovery platforms. Read More About it.

Education & Training

My mission to simplify and streamline my workflows continues, right now I'm looking at maximizing the tools I use and pair down the number of tools and subscriptions I pay for, so far I've cancelled Zoom, using Meetn in it's place which will also replace the rare occasion when I use StreamYard.

Right now I'm paying around with if I can manage to cancel Zapier, by taking advantage of automations in tools like Airtable and Clickup. Cleaning up my tech and my digital workspace is tedious but it's so rewarding when it works even better and I can actually find things!

Keep it Legal

As of March 26, 2025, most U.S.-based small businesses, including bloggers and online entrepreneurs with LLCs or corporations, are no longer required to file Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reports under the Corporate Transparency Act. This exemption applies to entities formed and operating within the U.S. However, foreign companies registered to do business in the U.S. must still comply. Staying informed about such legal changes is crucial to ensure your business remains compliant.

Latest Episodes and Blog Posts

While I don't have any new blog posts for Blogger Breakthrough (I'm still spring cleaning that site), I did write all about the BOI update over on elizabethstapleton.com so if you want more info check out the post.
